How it Began
Chemo emerged out of a terrifying diagnosis and the resurrection it spawned. In November of 2017 Josh Vasquez
was admitted to the hospital having serious breathing troubles. Doctors informed him his trachea was being crushed
by a tumor. He was 100 pounds lighter than normal, could barely breathe, and more exhausted than usual. He had Cancer!
The next few months were intense as medical personnel rapidly caught up with his late diagnosis. One harrowing surgery,
months of poison injections and staring down the worst erupted in sludgy radiation riddled riffs and Chemo was born.
Followed with it came the desire to turn a questioning mortality, into a battle with doom through strength of will.
What It Became
Following musical inspirations from many Metal bands such as:
Electric Wizard, Pentagram, Six Feet Under, Black Sabbath, Death,
Ruby the Hatchet, Gwar, and The Sword, Chemo's work began!

As unfortunate as it is, Lots of people have to fight this horrible disease alone. Chemo decided to take this shared pain
and use it as a motivation and concept. Work began with composing, recording, and build the foundation of what would become
a solo LIVE performance. Every instrument and all production work was done by Josh a.k.a Chemo as his cancer treatments
proceeded, hoping to one day be back on stage. Through many different ways of hard work that day came and Chemo has been able to share the stage with such amazings bands such as:
